Randy Leman called me today. He said, ÒToday is my birthday. IÕm 59. I wasnÕt supposed to live this long.Ó

 

          I replied, ÒHappy birthday mother fucker! How ya doin?Ó  He just laughed.

 

          I said ÒWhatÕs newÓ?

 

          He said, ÒNothinÓ.

 

          I said, ÒI love youÓ.

 

          He said, ÒI love you too!Ó

 

          Then we hung up.
